Day 1: FRIDAY, SEPT 01 – HONOLULU. Depart Honolulu.


Day 3: SUNDAY, SEPT 03 – ROME: Welcome to Rome! 5 pm, meet your Tour Director & travel companions for a welcome dinner at a local Cafe

Day 4: MONDAY, SEPT 04 – ROME: Your Sights incl Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Square & Basilica + Colosseum. Afternoon on own. (B) TOUR HIGHLIGHT: LEGENDARY LIVES Stand in awe and wonder amid one of mankind’s greatest artistic achievements in the Sistine Chapel. Hear how in 1508, a young Michelangelo was commissioned by Pope Julius II to decorate the chapel’s ceiling – a request not welcomed by the 33-year-old sculptor. Michelangelo’s 4-year project was indeed one of physical pain and psychological distress, while painting from scaffolds high above the sanctuary floor. Nevertheless, he created what is considered the most famous ceiling in the world, depicting the Creation of Adam in striking fresco style.

Day 5: TUESDAY, SEPT 05 – ROME–FLORENCE: FLORENCE: sightseeing includes Michelangelo’s David, at the Academy of Fine Arts. Day 6: WEDNESDAY, SEPT 06 – FLORENCE–VENICE: Benvenuti a Venezia Take a private boat ride in Venice + an orientation walk, including, St. Mark’s Square, the Bridge of Sighs & a glassblowing demonstration. Free time then dinner at a local restaurant followed by a private water-taxi ride on the Grand Canal. Day 7: THURSDAY, SEPT 07 – VENICE–BELLINZONA, SWITZERLAND–LUCERNE: Spectacular BELLINZONA! An elevator to the Courtyard of Castelgrande then a light lunch with local specialties + Merlot wine famous in the Ticino area; It’s a Scenic drive thru the Swiss Alps + St. Gotthard enroute to Lucerne. (B, L) LOCAL FAVORITE: HISTORIC SPOTS Castelgrande – Part of the fortification dates back to the Middle Ages & is a UNESCO World Heritage site. A Selfie Moment with spectacular panoramic views.

Day 8: FRIDAY, SEPT 08 – LUCERNE: Sweet Sighs of Switzerland LUCERNE; A Walking tour to Lion Monument & across Chapel Bridge. Balance of Day at your leisure. (B) TOUR HIGHLIGHT : PICTURE PERFECT Serenity is found in a gaze across the stunning panoramas of the Swiss Alps above the lovely city of Lucerne. Day 9: SATURDAY, SEPT 09 – LUCERNE–BASEL–PARIS, FRANCE: Board the high-speed TGV train to Paris. Free time this afternoon and evening. (B) TOUR HIGHLIGHT: PICTURE PERFECT Gliding across the French countryside past rows of vineyards setting the mood for wine & song in the City of Light – PARIS!.
