The building was impressive. The roof is covered with small tiles and is self cleaning.
Sydney Harbor luncheon cruise today. The food was very good.
We had a terrific dinner tonight at the Swissotel Sydney with a choice of steak or finish. We enjoyed each other's company and the dessert!

We ended our second full day in Sydney Australia with a group dinner at the Quay Grand Restaurant with the choice of wagyu steak or barramundi (Asian sea bass) or risotto.
We also went to the Scenic World Blue Mountains Australia which is a former coal mine turned into a tourist attraction. We got to ride the steepest Railway to the valley floor.
We hopped on a pony that pulled the coal wagons in the mines.

We stopped at the Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park.
We also took pictures with the koalas.

We are in Burnie, Tasmania today. The population is about 20,000 people. The ship is about 10 minutes from town by free shuttles. There is a nice boardwalk along the beach fronting the town.

We are in Eden Australia. Passengers are going on their own excursions. Many positive comments received.
Eden is a small port with a population of 3000 people. Nice sightseeing but not much shopping.
We held our Mahalo Party yesterday and everyone attended.
After the party we had a group dinner in the main dining room.
We are in Dunedin, New Zealand today see some birds and seals on a rock island.
Cruising through Milford, Doubtful, and Dusky Sounds.
We are in Dunedin, New Zealand today after cruising through Milford, Doubtful and Dusky Sounds. The sounds looked similar to Alaska terrain but unfortunately it was cloudy. Not much wildlife to see except for some birds and seals on a rock island.
We were in Christchurch yesterday. The city was devastated by an earthquake in 2011 and is still rebuilding today. Lots of new buildings but none taller than 7 stories. Some older structures still stand.
We are in Wellington today which is noted to be.windy and also home to the studios for the Lord of the Ring movies. We went to a shop with a museum and store based on the movies. We also rode a cable car up the hill for a Scenic spot. Made some friends.

We visited the Agrodome yesterday with a sheep shearing and a cow milking demonstration. Our tour members Rose, Mary and Annette were able to try to milk the cow.
We visited the Kiwi Hatchery which is trying to save the native bird from predators eating their eggs.
