About Doko Ga TV and Pali Ka‘aihue

Doko Ga TV is a Hawaii-based travel and culture show that takes viewers on immersive worldwide journeys. What started as a spotlight on Japanese food, traditions, and hidden gems has expanded to feature destinations like Korea, Alaska, Europe, Peru, and beyond. The series blends entertaining storytelling with a deep appreciation for global cultures. It has also grown to include the Hawaii version of Love Hokkaido and special tours in partnership with Non-Stop Travel, inviting audiences not only to watch but also to experience these adventures firsthand.

Behind the camera and in front of it is Pali Ka‘aihue, the show’s creator, director, and host. A multi-instrumentalist and Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning musician, Pali’s lifelong love for Japan inspired him to combine music, media, and travel into one platform for cultural connection. As president of the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts, he expanded Hawaii’s artistic presence in Japan, and in 2016 he was honored as a Hokkaido Hawaii Smile/Goodwill Ambassador. Today, Pali continues to guide both viewers and travelers through stories that celebrate food, music, people, and place with aloha at the heart of it all.
