2024 Scenic Switzerland By Train Plus Romantic Rhine River Cruise Tour Photo Gallery

We had an incredible time exploring Switzerland and cruising the Rhine River with Avalon Waterways. Starting our adventure in Zurich, we enjoyed cool, drizzly weather. Our first train ride took us to Lucerne, a charming town where we experienced an entertaining Folk Show and dinner. Lausanne offered breathtaking scenery and a memorable funicular ride to Harder Kulm.

Continuing our journey, we traveled from Lausanne to Montreux, visiting Chillon Castle and later arriving in Zermatt, where we were captivated by views of the Matterhorn. Our last train rides took us from St Moritz to Zürich before boarding the Avalon Expression. We enjoyed beautiful weather, great tours, and delicious meals. Now, our group is back in Hawaii, savoring the memories of our amazing trip through Switzerland and along the Rhine.
