2025 Fall Northern Kyushu, Iwakuni, & Osaka Gourmet Tour Photos

Recapping our 2025 Fall Northern Kyushu, Iwakuni, & Osaka Gourmet Tour with Tour Manager Wendy Iwasaki! We explored Northern Kyushu’s historic shrines in Fukuoka, cruised through the beautiful islands of Kujukushima, and learned about sake brewing in Sasebo. In Nagasaki, we visited Glover Garden, Dejima, and Peace Park before enjoying a special Shippoku dinner. Our journey continued through Unzen’s steaming hot springs, Kumamoto Castle, and Beppu’s famous “hells,” where we tasted food cooked with natural volcanic steam and even enjoyed a memorable fugu dinner in Shimonoseki. The trip wrapped up with the iconic Kintaikyo Bridge, okonomiyaki making in Hiroshima, a bullet train ride to Osaka, and plenty of shopping and eating in Kuromon Market and Dotonbori.
