Springtime in Okinawa, Kyoto, Nara & Osaka
Our 2026 Cherry Blossoms: Grand Okinawa, Kyoto, Nara & Osaka Shopping Tour began in Naha, where we explored the rich culture and history of Okinawa before traveling across the island to visit Shuri Castle, Ryukyu Mura, Churaumi Aquarium, Okinawa World, and the Motobu Yaedake Festival, where beautiful ume (plum) blossoms welcomed the start of spring. We also painted our own shisa keepsakes before heading to Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka to experience iconic temples and shrines, a traditional tea ceremony, wagashi making, the famous Nara deer, and plenty of shopping at Kuromon Market, Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and more. It was a wonderful mix of culture, food, shopping, and springtime in Japan, shared with Tour Manager Wally Mau.
