2024 Iberian Discovery Tour Recap with Globus and Tour Manager Russell Fujioka!
Exploring Madrid was a breathtaking start to our Iberian Discovery adventure with Globus Tours! The city’s clean streets, lush green spaces, and stunning architecture were a feast for the eyes. The highlight was visiting the Prado Museum, home to an incredible collection of Renaissance art, where we admired everything from the “Men in Black” to lounging ladies. Our group then ventured to El Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen, capturing memorable moments at these historic sites.
From Madrid, our journey took us to the vibrant city of Lisbon. Our local guide, Phillipe, made the tour unforgettable with visits to Queluz Palace, Cascais, and Cape Rock. We celebrated birthdays and anniversaries, savoring delicious local dishes like mussels in garlic and piri-piri chicken. The trip continued with a scenic drive to Seville, where we explored the Plaza de España and the enchanting streets of old Seville. Ending the day with a Flamenco dinner was the perfect touch.
