The 2024 Iceland’s Magical Northern Lights Tour was an incredible journey through a land shaped by fire and ice, offering awe-inspiring landscapes that felt worlds away from our island home in Hawaii. From exploring the vibrant streets of Reykjavik and relaxing in the Blue Lagoon to marveling at the thundering waterfalls of Gullfoss and Seljalandsfoss, every day offered something new. We stood on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, walked along volcanic black sand beaches, and admired glacial lagoons dotted with floating icebergs. The search for the northern lights added a touch of magic to our nights, as we scanned the skies for nature’s most dazzling light show. With visits to Thingvellir National Park, the Skógar Museum, and Sólheimajökull Glacier, this trip was truly remarkable.
