Mountain West:

The Mountain West conference (MW) is a premier NCAA Division I women’s volleyball league with a strong legacy, including 44 NCAA Tournament bids, nine Sweet 16 appearances, and an Elite Eight berth since its founding in 1999. The conference continues to elevate its national profile with a significant expansion for the 2026 season, welcoming UH and UTEP as full-time members, and UC Davis as an affiliate member, broadening its footprint and competitive depth.

MW women’s volleyball members: Grand Canyon University (GCU); San José State (SJSU); The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP); U.S. Air Force Academy (Air Force); University of California, Davis (UC Davis); University of Hawaii at Manoa (UH); University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV); University of Nevada, Reno (Nevada); University of New Mexico (UNM); University of Wyoming (UW)

The top four teams in league standings will earn berths to the tournament with the winner of the 2026 Credit Union 1 MW Women’s Volleyball Championship earning the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament in December.
