Tell us a little about yourself.

As a resident on the Windward side, I drove over the Pali all my life. Going to the University of Hawaii & working in town. I retired over 3 years ago. With the birth of my 3 granddaughters, in Texas & California, I have been actively sharing in their lives.

What did you do for work before becoming a Tour Manager?

I’ve maintained my insurance license for over 20 years, where I worked with both national & local offices.

What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your free time?

My most epic love of labor has been becoming an Obaachan (grandmother) to my grand babies. In addition, I enjoy being a patchwork quilter, developing my skills in Sashiko & a forever Ukulele student.

Where is your favorite place to travel? What is your favorite thing to do there?

Traveling through the United States, Canada and Japan, my most memorable experience has been traveling on a train to seen the Rockies on the Canadian border. This was the last trip my mother & I took together. She rode a boat to see Niagara Falls, rode a mild white water rapid, went onto a glacier where she drank water from a melting glacier, had high tea at the Empress, & lived on a train for about 4 days. Memories I will always have of her bravery to do something out of her comfort.

What do you like most about being a Tour Manager?

Seeing and aiding people/families enjoy creating special memories that will be with them forever.
