2024 Hokkaido Cruise Plus Tokyo, Kamakura & Yokohama Recap with Princess Cruises and Tour Manager Susan Hamada-Yee
Otaru’s picturesque port and canal provided a charming backdrop, with its well-preserved historical buildings and bustling market. Tour members enjoyed purchasing shoyu bottles, musical boxes, and stained glass souvenirs while relaxing with LeTao cheesecake and coffee. In Hakodate, the morning market buzzed with excitement as tour members savored grilled crab legs, unagi, sashimi, and uni, filling bellies and countless photos and smiles.
A highlight of the cruise was the Non-Stop Travel hosted cocktail party on the Diamond Princess, featuring a lively flash mob dance to “Roll It, Roll It”. Guests from two groups joined in the fun, enjoying excellent hors d’oeuvres and music by local singers. Another memorable moment included a Zumba session and a lesson in playing Hanafuda, filled with laughter and camaraderie. One evening concluded with a formal night featuring a delicious lobster dinner.
The entire cruise was filled with unforgettable experiences, delicious culinary treats, and new friendships!
