Calvin Sung

Tell us a little about yourself.

I was born in South Korea and moved to Honolulu, Hawaii when I was 15 years old — graduated from McKinley High School and UH Manoa.

What did you do for work before becoming a Tour Manager?

I worked various jobs when I was young, including cashier, photo lab tech, security officer, and firearm instructor. I retired in 2025 after 27 years of public service.

What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your free time?

Any endurance sports! 10-time marathon finisher and 2-time Ironman finisher (swim, bike, and run)! I am always running or riding a bicycle somewhere on the island when I am not traveling.

Where is your favorite place to travel? What is your favorite thing to do there?

Any place with my friends and family, but Japan and Korea are always on the top of my travel list. I love planning and taking my friends and family on trips, and seeing them experience new cultures and foods.

What do you like most about being a Tour Manager?

I love making new friends and traveling with them to new places!
