Recapping our 2024 Summer Discover Korea Tour with Tour Manager Lisa McKee!
Our Summer Discover Korea tour has come to a close! The group started at Incheon Airport, then explored the lush landscapes of Mt. Seoraksan National Park. Despite the rain, we had fun playing in the misty mountains, and our first taste of beef bone broth was a delightful introduction to Korean cuisine.
Highlights like strawberry picking in Sokcho and tasting pine berries added sweet memories to our journey through Andong and Gyeongju. Cultural experiences and delicious meals, including refreshing soju and rice wine, filled our days. Exploring Gyeongju’s treasures like Bulguksa Temple and Anapji Pond left us in awe, and our time on Jeju Island was simply wonderful. We then completed our trip in Seoul after a visit to the DMZ!
