Non-Stop Travel sent out two 2025 Hokkaido Snow Festival Plus Kawazu Cherry Blossoms Tour groups, both packed with fun and featured five awesome winter festivals like the Sapporo Snow Festival and Otaru Snow Light Path Festival. Despite the chilly temperatures, tour members explored amazing locations like Sapporo, Asahikawa, and Kawazu, indulged in delicious seafood and local cuisine, enjoyed two relaxing onsen hot springs, and much more!

The Festival is a fantastic world of ice featuring various snow and ice sculptures created from the water of the nearby lake.

After the Festival, we explore the Umino-eki Puratto Minato Ichiba neighborhood which sells fresh seafood and seasonal fruits.

Day 6 was a full day of leisure and shopping in Sapporo. Part of group #1 enjoying the ice sculptures.

We loved the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival despite the 20 degree weather! However, we were treated to a some snowfall!

Everyone is well equipped for the chilly temperatures!

Learning how sake is made and sampling tasty products at the Tanaka Sake Brewery.

Everyone had a tasting or two and bought their favorite.

Otaru was beautiful with sprinkles of snow and hail. We viewed the Otaru Light Path Festival from our bus.

First full day in Yokohama and headed to Sankeien Garden to view the spacious Japanese-style garden and historic buildings.

We hiked up to the lookout and 3 story pagoda and saw the majestic Fuji-san.

We ended our day at Yokohama Station where many of us found an inviting restaurant for dinner.

On a free day in Yokohama we decided to visit the Red Brick Warehouse which happened to have a Strawberry Festival.

There were endless choices of strawberry desserts and products.

Other tour members went to Tokyo and a few went shopping. Many purchased luggage as we all bought much more than anticipated.

The Kawazu cherry blossoms were not in bloom but everyone enjoyed the train ride to Kawazu and the yatai (food stands) along the river.

Our sushi making was the best ever! Chiba-san had a fish cutting demonstration with a yellowtail hamachi and served it!

We wore happi coats and had our pictures taken and placed on a certificate. We felt so special!
