There’s much to toast as you explore the sparkling seaside from Lisbon to Barcelona on this mostly coastal tour of Portugal & Northern Spain with visits to the pilgrimage site of Santiago de Compostela, the Famous seaside resort of San Sebastian, Onto Pamplona, the legendary Calle Estafeta where the famous “running of the bulls” takes place. – AND, make a beeline to the delicacies of each country, from the zesty paella of Spain to the sweet port wine of Portugal. Day 1 – SUNDAY, MAY 18 – HONOLULU – Departure flights to Lisbon.

Day 2 – MONDAY, MAY 19 – IN TRANSIT

Day 3 – TUESDAY, MAY 20 – ARRIVAL LISBON, PORTUGAL – “Very Noble and Always Loyal” – Welcome to Portugal. Transfer to your Lisbon Hotel – and time to shake off the “Travel-Ness” and prepare for your upcoming adventure.

Day 4 – WEDNESDAY, MAY 21 – LISBON – PORTO (EMBARKATION): Your Suite Ship® is Ready for Boarding. Guests must be on board ship by 5 pm. Your day in Porto is free to explore at your leisure. You may choose to join an afternoon guided optional culinary tour if arriving early today. Experience some of Porto’s most famous sights and most delectable dishes with regional wine. Day 5 – THURSDAY, MAY 22 – PORTO – PORTO ANTIGO. Day 6 – FRIDAY, MAY 23 – PESO DA RÉGUA: DISCOVERY: ONE of the oldest farms personal tour by the owner of the house, including an olive oil and wine tasting, OR CLASSIC walking tour of the charming town of Régua – with its religious architecture, narrow streets, beautiful tiles, and stained-glass window of Casa do Douro; onto Lamego: the cathedral, a delicious tasting of bola de Lamego & sparkling wine. Continue your experience with a ride to the riverside city of Matosinhos and up Avenida da Boavista to admire some of the modern charms of Porto – from ancient avenues to avant-garde graffiti street art, OR: This afternoon, you may choose to join in a guided optional excursion such as a scenic canal cruise on the Aveiro (Venice of Portugal) or explore a family-owned factory to witness the Portuguese art of cork and barrel production. DAY 12 – THURSDAY, MAY 29 – LISBON: Lovely Lisbon LISBON Guided sightseeing includes Jerónimos Monastery and cloister, a photo stop at Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. TOUR HIGHLIGHT: The stunning capital city of Portugal is a treasure trove of historic and architectural masterpieces.
