Steven & Naomi Lee

Tell us a little about yourself.

Naomi: I am a Kotonk who was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. I attended a private University in Nagoya, Japan for 2 years and graduated from the University of Hawaii and Chaminade University. I have a hospitality and design background. I am currently retired and am a part-time Yoga, Lagree/Pilates instructor and retail window designer.

Steven: Born and raised in Liliha, Honolulu. Graduated from McKinley High School and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Living near and loving Kaneohe Bay since 1997.

What did you do for work before becoming a Tour Manager?

Naomi: I owned and operated my own wedding linen rental business, called Les Saisons, for 11 years in Hawaii.

Steven: I was a Memorial Counselor at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery/Borthwick Mortuary.

What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your free time?

Naomi: My passions include traveling, organizing, decorating and staying active by doing yoga and Lagree/Pilates. I also love playing with my two Lhasa Apsos.

Steven: I love sports! My favorite professional teams are the Boston Celtics and the Miami Dolphins. My main hobby is ceramics. I’ve been potting since high school. I never surfed but love to snow ski.

Where is your favorite place to travel? What is your favorite thing to do there?

Naomi: My favorite place to travel is Paris. I love visiting all of the beautiful museums, discovering hidden treasures by wandering the streets and sipping on hot chocolate and coffee at stylish cafes.

Steven: I love “old world” Europe like Paris and Prague. I enjoy learning about the history and experiencing their food and culture.

What do you like most about being a Tour Manager?

Naomi: I love being able to help Tour Members create special memories from their travels and love turning unfamiliar faces (from the pre-departure luncheon) into very familiar and friendly faces by the end of the trip. It’s really wonderful to see the tour group bond and become one happy family!

Steven: I love being able to explore the world with my Wife and best friend, Naomi.

Is there anything else you’d like our tour members to know about you?

Steven: I get motion sickness very easily…even from videos and video games. My drink of choice is sake.
